I hadn't really factored in that he was going to get some break because he's a pro until your post, but yeah that sounds like the most likely of things to come for him.

He was sentenced to 6 months in jail. He chose to serve it in 3 month periods over the course of two summers. He plays in Toronto during the season, then goes back to San Jose during the summer to serve his time. I can't remeber if he is on his first or second go around.

From what I've read he is going during the day and working, but not staying the night in jail. Some sort of work release program.
