Interesting goalie equipment rumour.

This is an interesting, however completely unsubstantiated rumour at this point.

Ed Belfour will be wearing BHG (Brian Heaton Goalie) H10 clone pads without markings (no NHL fees for BHG) for the 2006/2007 season in Florida. The pads are apparently going to be delivered when Florida plays Detroit this weekend.

It has also been rumoured Eddie has been wearing Tellqvists old mustard CCM Gatekeeper pads during the preseason in Florida awaiting the arrival of the BHG's.

As a side note: The Brian Heaton Goalie website is currently down.

wow that should mean more biz for Brian Heaton! If other H10's loving goalies follow suit then BHG is going to be rich and Reebok will hire him back again. that'll be cool.

I saw him in a highlight package about a week ago. He was definately wearing yellow pads (not as yellow as Fleury's) but they were definately yellow. I haven't seen him in any highlights since.

He has been seen in a set of ccm gatekeepers in telly's colors and a set of rbk premier IIs with older graphics. No word has been heard about him actually using a set of pads from brian but it would be kind of neat.
