One90 Skate pro deal

Recommended Posts

I'm about to place an pro deal order with the nike bauer rep here in atlantic canada. I'm looking at getting a pair of one90 skates. I know that these skates have been in short supply at the retail level, but I was just wondering if anyone knows what the turn-around is like on pro deals right now? Also, would bauer be able to add a heel lift for me, or would this be considered a custom option (and increase the price). Any info would be great.

Do you work in a shop?

If that is the case, just because you're doing a pro form order, doesn't mean that you'll be bumped up. If they are in stock, you can get them.

As for the heel lift, no - because your skates will ship from the warehouse, not the custom proshop.

He's ordering the retail skates through the store employee purchase program, in which he gets a substantial discount.

Bingo.

If I did get the lifts, could I still get some kind of discount? I'd like to have the lifts put on at a shop, but I don't trust anyone around here to do it...

Thanks for the info guys

DO you work in a store? Why not do it yourself? NBH sells heel lifts.

I'd love to, but I work on the floor, I'm not a tech. And, our Tech isn't that great, so I don't trust him to do it either. Thanks for the info, I didn't know NBH offered heel lifts. Is there somewhere I can view them? Are they sold at the retail level or would I have to order them?

Sorry to be a bother, but you seem to be the right guy to ask about this stuff.

It's no longer in the catalogue but they sell them. Youll have to call.

It's not hard to install lifts. All you have to do is remove the six back rivets, slide the lift in, drill through the holes in the boot, and re-rivet.

sorry for the off topic post but where abouts in atlantic canada do you live /work?

Moncton, and since I admitted that my tech is less than amazing, I'd rather not name our shop ;)

Cool. Sounds pretty easy. Thanks a lot for you help. :)

i work for sports chek and NBH told us we can not pro deal the One90 skate until the new year

Good to know. Guess I'll have to wait... or just grab a pair of shift 2's when they come out! A co-worker at my store just ordered a pair of bauer 70's. Beautiful skate, and what a deal!

There is no Pro Deal, no Employee Purchase Program, no price for One90 skates. Without stock skates for dealers, NBH cannot offer the skates to shop employees.

do you have a link to that thread, all i could find was that hockeygiant has them and the steel is durable.

i play junior b and i haven;t really seen too many one90s in my league but on my organizations junior a team three kids have one90s and they all have LS2s. ive also been to other junior a games and out of maybe 8 kids with one90s i think only 1 or 2 had the powers
