Warrior Kingpin gloves

Recommended Posts

I tried them on at my LHS today while I was waiting for my skates to get sharpened and they felt really good and very mobile (as in not too stiff). Though, I am skeptical about the durability of the palm, it seemed pretty thin. Anyone have any experience with these?

They just talk that the gloves is now in store most of the topic.

hapamatt is asking for a review on the gloves. I would like to have the same thing. Anyone who have them here, how do you like them?

wow,, they felt really nice, already broken in, but like I said, the palm feels relatively thin, at that price tag I wonder if I'd be better off in some XXX's as originally planned.. well thanks for the input.

I have some pro stocks that I picked up in the summer. They are snug flexible and light. Wearing them in games they get hot and wet. I tried some retails and found them more snug. I think Weight was having the wet glove problem when he first used them. I dont think that he wears them anymore. I saw Witt wears some Warriors with no spider legs. They look ok. The thing I like is the back roll flexibility. Thats my 2 cents.

yeah, when the palm is thinner you normally have a better feel on your stick. I would like to see a pair but my LHS doesn't carry Warrior.

I have had mine for about a month and I'm ditching them for the synergy pros. The palm is still good but looks very cheap and like its easy to tear. The problem I have with these gloves is wrist mobility and the index finger seems to long for the rest of the glove, so my finger gets caught in the extra bend of the finger.

All in all the gloves are nice but Im gonna have to say that their not worth the $.

You compare them to which gloves in term of fit? One of my friend has them and he said they fit like the Oakley gloves...

I bought a pair a couple of weeks ago and have used them about eight times. No glove is really worthy that kind of money, but I would say (at least for a rec player) they're as good as anything I've used. Very comfortable (I have large hands) and ZERO break in time. The palms don't feel exceptionally thin to me, but then again I'm not very hard on equipment.

I had a pair of Oakleys a few years back and I guess they fit pretty similar to those. I just came off Vapors XX's and they are two totally different gloves.

I'm really glad I went with the one90s instead of the warriors. Glad I used my head instead of going on looks and taking a shot at a glove I've never even seen besides on the net/tv.

Glove's not doing all that hot in the pros.  Guys dropping out of them like flies.

LOL, bad sign.

Guerin, Weight and Roberts went back to Eagle

Addition by subtraction?

No. Just a crappy glove. And theirs weren't even made by Warrior.
