Anyone Have More Info?

All I can see (because I'm not an Insider subscriber), is that Forsberg may be on his way out. Can anyone that subscribes to ESPN Insider elaborate on this at all?

Thanks.

Erik.

Just the same stuff we experienced in Colorado over his last 3 or 4 years ... all maybe talk.

Peter: I want to come back but it depends on how I feel.

Flyers: We want Peter back but in depends how he feels.

Not exact quotes but more of the same.

The Flyers should do whatever they can to trade him and get some younger players. Give up on this season and plan for the future.

I can't agree with that. The Pens have talent this year. The Flyers are looking like my team.

Chadd, I agree about Philly. They need more young talent and Forsberg isn't even performing up to expectations this year. In my eyes they have no hope left for this season, even being this early.

Penguins are suprising me this year also. I really like the way Malkin and Crosby are working together. Crosby got his first hat-trick tonight and malkin continued his goal scoring streak.

Even if the forwards start playing together again, the problems on defense will still sink them if they manage to make the playoffs. If you add some more young talent to the Calder, Carter, Richards, Pitkannen, Nitti core, it could be a very good team in 2 years.

Oh just get rid of Calder already. He's done nothing this year.

They aren't using him properly.

How many "Flyers suck" threads do we need?

I don't know that you can ever have too many of them. ;)

I still think we're way under the number of Leafs or Canadiens topics.

The Rangers didn't enter the league until 1926. Conn Smythe was actually their first GM. But we digress, 40 years still = zero Cups. However, with Harold Ballard in charge all those years, it begins to make sense.

I don't believe the cup wins go beyond the start-up of the 6 team NHL.

We'll just win it this year anyways. It's a known fact that on January 8th, 2007 the NHL will shut-down and give the Leafs the cup because of their pure dominance. They will lose 2 games from now until this point, both will be to Ottawa, and both will be 6-2 losses. It's science.

Everyone knows the Leafs own the Canadiens. Maurice just dragged out the shoot-out until Kyle Wellwood whipped it inside the wickets!!

Strike up the band, start the parade!

I thought this was a "Flyers Suck" thread, so how did it end up, inevitibly, as a Canadiens-Leafs thread???

Maybe I didn't read this all the way through, but is the article suggesting Forsberg be out soon, or at the end of the year? I'm not an ESPN Insider...

Because I'm good. ;)

You have to know what bait to use if you want to catch a fish.
