Colored Lightspeeds

looks like they're molded that way, not sprayed or dipped or anything. They still have the lightspeed logos on them and everything.

And for those of you who are considering buying these, I just realized that it lists it as a pair of holders, and makes no mention of the inclusion of steel . If you don't already have a LS or LS2 holder on your skate, you're gonna need to pony up the bucks for new steel, as well. (and possibly for a reprofiling)

If you want to dye you own, go to Wallmart and buy RIT dye. Soak the holders for 10-15 minutes. They will come out beautiful.

have you done it? Does the color come out boldly or faded?

Dying them doesn't work it weakens the holder and it looks like crap.

I have a customer who dis his whole kids team in red. They look great and seem to be holding up very well. He said the trick is to let them sit for a long time, not just a quick dip.

I have broken three pairs after this process each one on stupid things. I weigh only 185 pounds so I know this process weakens them.

I weigh 270 pounds and my black holders are holding up perfectly. It doesn't weaken them that much.

im 185 and my black lights speeds are doing fine as well!....i had them sit in the dye for like 3 hours too

Edge might want the brown/maroon LS' cause hes a coyote.

I think you've sparked an Idea for me, after all, Its so easy to do, just as long as you dont stain your entire kitchen...
