Cascade Helmet?

I was flipping through the pages and came across this advertisement,

Anybody know anything about this helmet? Their website has nothing on it. Just a "The Enemy is Now Your Ally"

Cascade is a long time leader in lacrosse helmets. They've been "in the game" for atleast 10-15years.

Expect to see some type of custom color program.

hecc is rating it to be 50% stronger then any other helmet.

I had some input on the design of this helmet. They brought the prototype to me last spring and asked what I changes I think should be made.

I'll be seeing the finished product this Thursday.

yeah it deffinetly has some similarities to the 8k

id buy it though, i rock a cascade helmet for lax, why not try it for hockey, whats the price looking like for these?

I'm not doubting that it wil be certified (mfgrs who are in the helmet business usually don't have problems with stuff like that)l, but it's just interesting that they can make a blanket statement without certification. Look at what happened with Hefter.

Not to mention the fact that nobody actually publishes any type of actual ratings for the helmets.

on the 2006 website and list...it isn't but if you happen to take a look at the 2007 list that our rep had, it's on there. not only is it HECC certified but also holds the NOCSAE certification.

I was just looking at the pic again and noticed that it doesn't have and screws in the part that covers the temple area. when this lid comes out, will it have screws there?

To me, that pic looks like an "artist's rendering." Like what's been posted, there are no holes in the temple area for visors. There also doesn't appear to be any adjustment points, either tool-less or otherwise.

Still, I'm interested to see the finished product.

Look for it to be marketed either under the sher-wood name or along side sher-wood products. It's not final as of yet but it's in the works.

My experience with Cascade is that they treat their dealers well, and, their products are well made. Most of all for me, THEY SELL.

They have great customer service and they don't feel like you are bothering them when you call or email with questions.

Considering the site the have says it's coming out in December..I'm getting prett ansy. But I think it would have made more sense to have it out before christmas..but I think it looks okay..
