quick question: is your golf swing and/or do you bat the same as you shoot?

I'm all messed up from years in goal.

Started out as a RH, became a tender and catch left so I had to learn to play the puck LH, now that I'm retired from goal I skate out and shoot RH, but can play decent LH. Works well for when I coach goalies and need to shoot as a specific hand :D

Otherwise I golf RH, bat RH, write RH, throw RH.

I see one other poster is righty in golf, but putts left. I don't play much golf, but is that common? To swing/drive with one hand, and putt with the other?

I've never seen it. Glad I'm not the only one. It tends to weird people out when I golf with them the first time. Usually they ask if that's what I was doing after 2 or 3 holes. In my case it's partly because I'm a decent hockey player and a terrible golfer, so my feel for putting is better lefty. I can't really swing clubs lefty due to shoulder injuries over the years.
