Both are great skates, but the pros are the better of the two if thats wat you need to know. I'm not completely familiar with the skates, goto the CCM website and check the features. It'll probably be better to ask upon those features which differ and find the advantages of the features because you may not need them or want them. NYR14 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2004 I just asked the guy at my LHS the same question the other day. The liners and the boot are a little different. And once you get to the 6.0, all of the above are different and the sole is plastic as opposed to the fiberglass on the pros and 7.0. The 6.0 boot also is nylon as the pros and 7.0 are that metal stuff. I may be getting the 7.0 for around 265 USD on hockeymonkey.com Killer deal there with the free stick. Cyclone Taylor has the pro tacks 1/2 off but I need to try those on first. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It has the metallic mesh on the quarters, the ankle support is carbon, also, the blade on the Pro is scalloped.I happen to know that because I have to.However, it's pretty easy to find it on the CCM site.
