Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2006 In the post game interview tonight, crosby was interviewed, and was wearing one of the under armour style dri-fit tops but made by reebok. It had shoulder pads built into it. Almost like the rugby jerseys (for those who follow rugby) in the world cup or six nations that some of the players use.Is this a custom thing for him only, I couldn't find it on the site.I would love to get something like this for when I am out inline skating for a bit of protection.Anyone know or hear of it? RBK does offer something similiar, EastWest has it in-stock.
Jake 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2006 I'm not sure what function it serves. It's over his traps more than anything, not an area that takes a lot of abuse anyway. The only thing I can think of is it helps his shoulder pads to fit better.
jjtt99 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2006 I think you mean this stuff.http://www.icewarehouse.com/descpage.html?pcode=T4951There are better pictures of the removable rib and wrist protectors, it just looks some kind of plastic thing that goes in and out of the pockets sewn into the shirt. An interesting idea.
