using tape as grip

I usually use the striped tape job down the shaft for grip but i'm thinking about the black tape method. I f i do it tho, will tape residue be left on my gloves...residue that doesnt come off?

seems like a simple question, just not sure.

Yes, their will be residue on your gloves, no it won't come off (easily). Use white or maybe try one of those stick wraps from Renfrew.

Ya there will be a black residue on there and it will ruin the leather of the palms of your gloves

i bought "grip and guard" or some thing like that. it comes in a few colors and in dip or spray can. i got clear in a spray and it feels almost identical to the syNergy grip feel.

i tried grip and guard and after 1 game it was wearing off. It felt good at first, but it started getting annoying when it was peeling while i was playing.
