All Torhs Team 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2006 Yea so my dad got me a stick for Christmas. Its a CCM Vector VSE C. Its like orange and black. I've never heard of it before or even seeen it. The price tag was $100. What can I expect out of this stick? Is it a lower end CCM like the Z-1 of Mission? Anyone use it before?

sc37 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2006 If I recall correctly...it's a stick from Sports Authority. It's essentially a Vector 6.
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted December 25, 2006 TSA's SMU is a Vector SE, it's basically a 6.0 with 10.0 colors and they only come in a recchi curve. The price is indeed $99 + tax for senior.

cabreezy 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2006 If he was out on black friday it really cost him more like $55 ;), maybe even $45 if he was one of the first 100 customers. I used my coupon on new ski-boots though.
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted December 25, 2006 yeah, what was it a 25% off coupon and 20% off hockey sticks? or something like that.
DamnLocust 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2006 not that it matters, but I've seen them at Dick's Sporting Goods as well. I wasn't impressed by them, and they've already marked them down to $79.
All Torhs Team 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2006 yeah, what was it a 25% off coupon and 20% off hockey sticks? or something like that.Naw he bought it at a sports authority like two months ago. He knows nothing about equiptment though, I would much rather have like Response Plus for $100. But its the thought that counts right?
twister18 1 Report post Posted December 26, 2006 Got the same stick at sports authority on black friday, for like 40 bucks, down from $100 using coupons.....I kinda dig it, especially for the price, but I'm not a big fan of the recchi curve.
All Torhs Team 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2006 They stopped making a thornton didnt they?
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted December 26, 2006 I believe so, but you can still find them around. At TSA they have a few woodies with the curve but they are all ccm "thorton" sticks, the blades have abs inserts.
