Well here's to James Brown passing away. I'm sure we'll see that goofy mugshot of his or references to Rocky IV but I'll miss the crazy bastard.

I still won't miss you, Ostor.

I will be listening to "Livin' in America" on my Christmas Day commute in honor of James.. and going "HA!" all day.

I didn't even pickup on the Ostor comment, until I seen he wasn't registered!

Broke my heart to see this. I love me some JB...and the sad thing is that all of these years I wanted to see him before he died, and I missed him at House Of Blues in Orlando two years ago.

I was the same way with the Grateful Dead. They played at the Ventura County playground every year, and I always told myself I should catch a show, but I never did before Jerry died.

Regarding JB, what a great career he had. I picked up the box set about fifteen years ago and it's chock full of hits.

He was in one of my fav. movies, Rocky IV. And he was born on may 3rd, just like me. :(

From News/Talk 660 in Calgary at the end of the story about Browns death.

"James Brown was scheduled to perform a concert in Calgary in early 2007. That show has been canceled"

Really? They HAD to include that?????
