Windows Numbering Order

I've noticed on iTunes and other programs on windows number selections go like this

I find it really annoying. Is there anyway to change it so the numbers go in order? Is there a place in settings or something I can change it or will it always be like that. This is how I want it.

etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know it's not that becaue when I plug my iPod into a mac it re-arranges it into the order I want it, and it's just not iTunes where it does that.

If you use 01, 02, 03, etc for the single digit numbers, it will keep them in the order that you want.

That is the only way I know how to do it.

It's because the programmers only used a string search. Like WAMPS said, if you precede the single digit number with a 0, then it should work fine.

My iTunes (in Windows) numbers exactly how you want it to. I have no idea why your computer isn't doing it.

It's already been established that it doesn't do that on other people's PCs. It's not a PC problem, it is a problem with your computer.

I also don't believe its an iTunes problem as tracks sort properly in Windows Explorer on my PC.

Just curious how could you screw up the ordering by how you name the tracks? When I was trying to figure out the ordering problem I tried and whether the tracks were #'d 1,2,3... or 01,02,03... I couldn't make my computer number them out of natural order.
