I thought that we also discussed how these holders were weaker because of how the holders are colored?

I spoke with a Total Hockey rep and also a Bauer rep who happened to be at the store where I was getting them installed on my new skates a few days ago.

There are NOT weaker than any other LS2 Tuuks and they are not dyed. They are identical to the standard ones, other than the color. During the manufacturing process they simply substitute the white pigmintation pellets with whatever color they want to end up with during the injection molding process.

$89 is nothing to spend on something such as this, especially when $200 hockey sticks and $150 helmets are the norm now.

When you buy them from Total Hockey you have to order a quantiy of ONE because its for one pair...doesn't take a genius.

Anyways, heres mine. Wifey bought the skates and blades for me for Christmas... :D

I like the look of them, think red would be better to match the trim on the skates, but i still think they look the part.

My oh my what a craze of coloured holders are going to appear!
