A bunch of my friends have the XX's, have nothing but good things to say about them. The only difference i know of is in the palms.

Plastic inserts in the XX as well. And their flex thumb seems different somehow, not sure exactly how. Not sure if it's worth the extra money. The XXs are $60-70 CDN more than the XVs.

XX's are made of different materials on the outside as well as the palm. The XX's have stitched and multi-layered materials on the exterior whereas the XVs are just silkscreened graphics. The XX seem to be made a little better than the XVs which is understandable since they're $50 more... ;)

I have XXs and have used the XV as well, they're both solid gloves.

I guess if you like the XV's fit they may be worth the money. I found the palms just seemed squishy to me, like the material's so thin that it just folds and wrinkles as I'm gripping the stick. They felt to me that they sit a little lower on my hands as I'm stickhandling. They also feel a bit looser there too than my Mission Warp Zeros. Maybe I'm used to the thicker nash palms. I also found the general XX/XV construction to not be very precise: I've seen several on the shelf and the index finger seemed to vary in direction from glove to glove. The pinky pads as well I found to be different sizes and spacing.

In the end, I just returned the XVs I had, wasn't for me.

Great gloves imo. They're the most comfortable gloves i've ever had. They would take top slot in my book if they had tapered fingers. I can without a doubt though say that they are the best gloves on the market right now in that price range. They even beat out some of the top-end gloves of some companies.

pias in my area sells the vapor XXs for $80.00 and the Xs for 40 the don't have the XV. Are they good prices?

XX's are going for $120+ and the XVs are going for $80 or so in most places.

Probably looking at the junior sizes...
