the intake... im definitely getting it...

the visor... thats what im thinking about...

anyone with suggestions as to what i should be getting?

wondering how initial combination looks?

any other possible combinations that would look nice also?

how is the durability of the visors?

Pong,

I have the Mission Intake with an Itech X-100 visor. I'd recommend this set up for these reasons...

1. The X-100 system allows you to replace visors when they get mucked up.

2. It's a slightly bigger visor, so you get a tad more protection.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

That's my combo. I would defiantly recommend! I also have a clear HS22 ProWave i could throw on if you wanted pics

No need to change your visor Miike. I have an HS22 Aviator Tinted visor on my Intake that I just bought. I absolutely love it. I'll take some pics later tonight and post em up.

I too have this combo and since Itech and Mission are the same company makes sense that these 2 things are synergisitic

True dat. I also had an easier time putting the Itech visor on my Intake than I did on my Bauer 5000.

Or, is that to say you defiantly object to him using a different combo. :)

what's that visor? do u have problems with fogging? bec its generally hot in where i play so that could be a problem...

is the hs22 pro wave smaller than that? how is it?

That visor is the X100 DLX (aka CHL Visor). Compared to the prowave, i find it almost similar in size. Except the prowave has more room around your nose i guess you'd call it. The way its built it 'waves' higher then where this is almost straight.

Here are the pics finally. I don't think they do the combo justice, but you get a basic idea of how they look.

thats the tinted hs22 prowave? or is that the aviator?

that looks cool...

does the tinting reduce the glare? wont the mirrored one reduce the glare

more?

I like the tint. Works well if you play in a bright rink. Doesn't bother me in dim rinks though. The tint would be darker and even better for glare and contrast in brighter rinks, but it's a bit too flashy for me. My visor is the HS22 Aviator. The Pro Wave is cut higher in the nose area, hence the wave name. Look it up on the web and you'll find pics. There is also an HS22 straight cut which is as it's name says cut straight across. I like the Aviator the best for looks and protection. Better than the Oakley aviator I had which is actually quite different in cut to this visor.

i found that mission helmets are sized differently from other helmets. i was a medium in a bauer 4000 but when i switched to the intake i went with a small.

I've thought of putting a tinted visor onto my bucket, but dont want to look too 'flash' and attract too much attention...

yesterday's hockey dropin was a blast, was going full tilt up the left side, and saw the defenceman coming straight at me, tried to avoid him, but big collision... at least I was still on my feet, and he bounced about 3 feet into the side boards...

thats a pretty nice combo, I went with the clear on my helmet, may have to consider a switch to a tinted... although I rarely play in a rink where a tint would be necc

For whoever asked the question. I wear a medium Bauer 5000, but when I picked up the Intake, I dropped to a small. I find the RBK helmets to fit even bigger than Missions. At least wider. They don't work for my reasonably small noggin.
