tuuk custom+ or lightspeed

Custom+ is more on your heels and the lightspeed is neutral pitch. Lightspeed is also stiffer.

far as strength, I don't know which is stronger, but holder's usually don't break too often. Steel on the Lightspeeds is known for weakness.

there are TONS of holder comparison threads, performing a search may answer your questions before you even need to ask them.

This is just my own personal opinion, but I've used the Custom+, Lightspeed, Lightspeed2 and now the LS2 Power. I love the added stiffness and length of the new LS2 Power and I would highly recommend these holders to anyone that can tolerate the looks of them. I personally don't mind the looks. They seem to give me better glide speed and also a better edge bite with the same hollow as opposed to the other holders listed above. This is most likely due to the stiffness and added length. I think the quality control procedures have improved with each generation of the Lightspeed holder. At least that is my experience. The steel on the LS2 Power is nicer than older generations and they seem to be mounting the holders straighter on One90's than they did on Vapor XXX's and XX's. I hope this helps you out.

I also second what Damn Locust said.

The hardware on the inside is different. The piece that tightens the steel is a hex bolt instead of a hex screw in the LS2 as far as I know. I think they tended to strip before.

ls1 holder has little cuts at the bottom (for perforated steel, makes honing the blade a bitch). LS2 does not. LS2 steel fits into LS1 holders as well.

FYI - Not all LS1 had the cuts. I have seen plenty of LS holders without the perforations.
