badsk8ter 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2007 Tonight, one of the great, storied rivalries in all of Minnesota High School hockey is set to take place in Warroad MN. Fox Sports North will be there, providing coverage of the game. The talent level between the two teams is remarkable. There is a good chance that at least 6 or more players playing tonight will be playing D1 hockey in a few years and there may even be a chance a couple will make it all the way to the show. I'm guessing the pre-game will start at 7:00 or 7:30.Just a fan (way to old to be in high school).An interesting sidenote to this game is that Warroad's goalie did not make the Roseau team, so he transferred schools and is now the starting goaltender for Warroad. tjl_48 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2007 It's awesome. I remember when our high school team made it to state we wouldn't have class. We would go to school and watch the game. There was no way I could focus on hitting the "record" button for the game The HS hockey games are some of the best to watch. I much prefer them to the Gopher games...
