Wow, I remember my bro had one of those mouth covers. I always thought it was a chinpiece.

I love how they have the SK100 and the SK120 yet both look like they'd probably collapse from a ringette deflection.

Very cool

Those face and mouth guards lol.

I wore the smaller one my first year of hockey, then the bigger one my second year. Year 3 was the old school birdcage.

I remember one season in an outdoor roller league a guy on the team I was playing with (it surely wasn't my team...) used the SK100. It's basically a piece of vinyl wrapped around the foam. I couldn't believe (A) that he'd actually wear that thing, and (B) that the bush league even allowed it.

I'm liking the muzzles. some guys just talk too much on the rink.

They're the helmet of choice for hurley players over here in Ireland

wonder how light their ultra lite's were :)

On the 2nd last pic it says in the corner "adult sticks shipping weight 16lbs per dozen"!

Not only do I remember all that stuff, I wore all that stuff! Brings back memories for sure. I remember those clear plastic mouth guards, believe it or not some came with a peppermint scent. When my brother and I started out, all you needed was a helmet and mouth guard. Then came the eye shield sort of like what the pro's wear now, followed by the steel cage with the pop in visor. I can remember when they first mandated you had to wear a full metal cage, my mom said that it was a bad idea and would encourage kids not to keep their sticks down! This coming from a woman that wouldn't let my brother and I play football because it was too dangerous! Any other old farts here remember that equipment? Funny thing is, I can't remember any of my friends ever getting a high stick.

Sure I do, I had the helmet and mouth guard. We still have the helmet and a birdcage attached to it in my parent’s garage; we used it as a goalie mask for street hockey through the 80's.

assuming that's accurate, that's about 603.3 grams per stick.

I've got an old pair of Cooper gloves like the ones pictured. Real leather palms and polyester wrapped. They provide all the feel and flex of a pair of phone books.
