It is not really shallow at all imo. It is about identical (maybe a hair less) to the mission purefly depth in my exp.

You have to remember there is no footbed in the thing too.

The new one will be a little different

Def deeper than the Synergy boots I briefly had. It is so hard to compare them to v12 or fl bc the cut is so different. With the Easton, I am assuming you are using that shock doctor footbed which makes that boot sort of artificially shallow. Basiclaly, take how a purefly or s500 fits, make the fronts slightly wider and you have Kor. I don't know how much simpler this can be made for you. I wear 11d mission, 10 in the V12s I had, 10.5 Kor and they fit dead on once baked. Try on some supplefit skates and if they fit well in d, just imagine them a bit wider in the fronts and if they'd still be ok you should be ok. I honestly think this boot caters to big, deep feet within reason.

Wait.. you play roller only right? If you are eyeing one of the current models with the screws, I hope you read up on what a bitch it is to mount anything else on them tha doesn't follow that stock hole pattern.

Chadd, do you know the average price range for the kor shift1?

I didn't look at the price list for this year but I would assume it will be around $500
