New Warrior sticks out

Recommended Posts

Nothing special about it other than the crease on the back side of the blade. Spine TECHNOLOGY; Dont know how that works with tape on your stick. Also the nipple grip was nothing more than a traditional textured grip with ribbs or bumps. Kinda RBK snakegrip/rubber feel. I do love the graphics on it though.

Seriously, the Spine technology think does intrigue me a lot. I mean, blades naturally torque out and open when shooting, and I would assume this spine thing will prevent that, right?

I always thought that was the reason why heel curves were so good for slapshots.. When they bend and torque, they only go back to a standard pattern as apposed to opening up.

I just dont see what the reason is behind the $$$ increase. If it came with a 1yr. warrenty ok. But other than that. Someone please sell me on this. On the other hand I did see the Showgun. Cool graphics again and a bit heavier than the Dolomite but thats about it.

They're still a hot name that the kids will buy. The majority of the board here that uses their product (myself included) do so for reasons other than the "wowzers what a cool name/paint job!!11!" The reality of it is that this is a very small minority and there are a lot of kids out there that will buy (have their parents buy) this crap because of the superficial reasons.

I just don't know.

I heard from several product mgrs from other mfgrs that it won't work.

Granted, that was a problem I had with Innovative sticks. Unless I try one, I can't comment.

I would have to agree with you there being an (Innovative)guy. I saw some of the junior sticks going for $160.00 +. How nuts is that; For a Kids stick?

In my day when you paid for the Kronic, YOU GOT THE KROINC!!! I see this more as a good looking sack of the someold, someold!!

To go along with JR's statement, the Warriors still do open up. No surprise there as they're the same stick, so I think I've taken 2 slapshots in the last 7 months.

Maybe going a little off topic............

After Vegas I talked to a couple of shop owners/mng that have Warrior accounts that were NOT going to carry the "Kronic" due to the drug reference. Anyone else hear any other negitive marketing feedback?
