CCM Warranty Return Problem

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

I am looking for some insight. First of all I will call them personally in the morning, I just got home from work 2 minutes after customer service closed for today. Buuuut I broke a Doan V10.0 regular flex and sent it back within the warranty period and they sent me a V130 stiff ovy.

What gives? And on top of it the stick they sent me, the graphic is all ripped up, do they not care? I have never had a problem like this before!

Help!

One take a picture now and have it time stamped to show the crappy one they sent you.

Two call up customer service and speak to a supervisor. If in fact this is as you say I would not settle for less that a V10.0 shipped asap for their mishap.

I've seen it before, but with RBK. The customer broke an Int. RBK 6k and got sent a SR. RBK 7k. Customer was not please even due to the upgrade. I'd have been even happier, but that's just me, not everyone wants a better stick.

Give them a call and see what they say, or take it back to the LHS or wherever you got it and tell them.

Yeah, I plan on calling tomorrow morning and to be honest its not a bad stick but I cannot play with his pattern and I hate stiff flexes. I just don't understand how they mess it up so badly!! Its almost comical. Like send a puppy to CCM, they send you back a kitten.

good luck with getting a good replacement, sucks that they didn't give you something you could use the first time but hopefully they'll right the wrong.

btw, let me ask you; how long did it take for them to get it back to you? I've been waiting about 3 weeks to get my warranty replacement. :(

I've been waiting about 3 weeks to get my warranty replacement. :(

when i sent my easton SL in, i got the new one back in under a week from the day i shipped it, i found this extremely surprising because i am in new hampshire and easton's customer service is in Cali.

They received it 1/26 and I received it 2/5, not too bad. But they're in VT so its one day shipping from here to there.

Easton's Warranty Replacement center is in Hebron, KY. They guarantee 2 day air when they confirm your replacement. I have sent back 2 STs and gotten them back quickly.

I think if you call them you'll find you'll end up getting 2 sticks of this whole process. They just didn't make a whole lot of 10.0s, so they don't have any to replace your broken one. Give them a call, I think you'll be surprised you'll be getting another stick as well.

Thats kind of what I'm banking on because it would be a complete hassle to ship a whole stick back. At least when they're broken they are cheap to ship.

I was in a similiar situation with warrior. Got the wrong shaft flex and called customer services and they settled the issue right away. They are making me send back the wrong shaft and they said they will send back the correct shaft. Didnt have to pay the return shipping either.

Any ideas on Mission customer service/product return times?

I had to warranty an M-1 before the holidays. Bad time to do it. I had to wait a month before they even processed my return. But, once they did, i got the replacement pretty quick.

The problem was, I sent them a McCauley 95 flex M-1, and got a Rafalski 85 flex hex-1. The Hex-1 is a nice stick, but I really can't do the Rafalsk(Sakic) pattern. I've been trying to "like" it, but I keep going back to my prostock dolomite.

I bought the McCauley because I wanted to try a heel/wedge and only got a week out of it. I went last night to my LHS to try and find a Lidstrom Z-carbon woodie, but they only had lefties. I guess I'll have to break out my M-2 shaft and grab a lidstrom blade.

Anyone use the Sherwood Crosby pattern? I saw a few 7000 woodies with this pattern. I was tempted, because the stick feels real nice.

Well, problem resolved, called customer service today and it was a processing error. They are out of V10s until March so they're going to send me a RBK 7K. Great service.

Keeper. Although its no good to me because its a stiff flex and an Ovechkin sand wedge. Its nice and light though, might try to use it or sell it or trade it.

I emailed them about not receiving the stick yet(I don't have CCM's number... it was on the stick  ). They already responded, much faster than their normal 3 day period and told me it will be shipping soon. Hopefully I'll get something that I like! Maybe they might even find a v120c bonk curve and regular flex to replace the one I sent in! Probably not :(

BTW what's their number? I didn't see it on their site.

thanks...

I was actually thinking with some people having issues finding numbers that maybe we should have a customer service phone # listing as a sticky.

The Crosby retail pattern I used on a Momentum XD blade.... Very similar to a Sakic. No likey at all. I ended up swapping for the Bouchard

isnt the crosby a drury?

The Crosby used to be very Drury'ish until 2004 when they moved his name onto a Sakic clone.

Mission is actually one of the few companies left out there that lets the dealer handle the warranty exchange. We take in the broken Mission stick and let the customer grab a new one out of our stock. When we have a decent amount to send back i just call up Mission, get the RA, either get credit or replacements and its a done deal. Granted most dealers probably dont like doing this as it takes away from their stock, but in another way its great because it allows us to get rid of some of our stock that doesnt sell.

As far as CCM goes, they are by far the worst when it comes to warranty replacements. Ive had so many customers come in saying they sent back this stick and got this stick back instead. I tell them all i have no control over the situation and they need to deal directly with CCM/Rbk. IF you read their policy closely it says they will replace the defective product with a product of similar value/likeness. It never states "same product replacement". It doesnt take a genious to figure out that customers are going to be pissed if they send back a 10.0 and get a old V130 back instead. Hopefully theyll resolve this problem soon and realize same product replacement is a more customer friendly policy.

Hummm.. I guess CCM is even mixed up with replacement services with RBK.

I was expecting CCM to send you new Catapult V10 instead of V130 <_<

by the way, how about NBH? Anyone? (sorry it's a bit off topic though but I waste of topic if I created new one)
