Bauer wavebridge blades

Recommended Posts

Has anybody used (or is still using) the 2003 bauer wavebridge blades?

How are they? (weight, durability, feel)

I want to buy ether these or some RBK 5K blades, but the 5Ks almost cost twice as much..

have you used a 5K? I know it may be the pricey alternative, but sometimes it's best to spend a little to go with something you know you're going to like, as opposed to something that's cheaper and "looks decent"

from what I've gathered, the blade you found is real similar to the Vapor X blade... same technology, and construction.

Thanks for the help!

I have never used the 5K blades but it sounds like i didnt miss anything.

So it seems the wavebridge blades are the better deal? Some more opinions on weight durability and feel?

Got 2 of the wavebridge blades today!

The weight is ok. not super light but probably good for 4 years old blades!

My only problem is: The hosel (or tenon?) is actually not too big as thejackal mentioned but too small! (I use TPS shafts, are TPS blades/shafts generally bigger in that area?)

So i put 2 layers of tape over the tenon.

Now its a snug fit but i wonder if the tape will decrease puck feel since there is no "solid" connection between blade and shaft??

It will be fine.
