LHS in Washington DC

Anyone know where one is in washington DC, im off there in a week and i really need to know where one is any help would be much apreciated.

as far as good pricing, go to eaithe ashburn or to for sports at the gardens ice house.... just depends on where you are staying inthe DC area.

Ive used Fairfax Ice Arena and Kettler Ice Complex in Balston for my needs. They don't have much so it really depends what you need or are looking for.

ballston dosen't have that much, laurel ice gardens, ashburn skatequest and prince william skatequest have alot, but i would recomend laurel

Best LHS in the area in my opinion is Ashburn. The guy that runs the place (Tim Burt) is a good guy.

They have a great selection...from top of the line to the cost conscious.

ProFit and Ski in Leesburg...IceDog works there, Ballston proshop at the Ballston Mall ask for Gregg, Fairfax Ice Arena in Annendale, ForSports in Laurel MD are all local shops with limited selection in each, but decent prices. I suggest you call around

I live within 10 minutes of ballston, for gloves, they only have CCM or bauer.

Sticks they have NBH, CCM and Sherwood

They have sherwood goalie gear also

And only CCM/NBH skates.

Laurel for me is hands down the best LHS in the area, cheaper and more selection than Ashburn (ashburn probably next along with fairfax ice arena shop)

They have CCM, NBH, Mission, Easton, Warrior, the owner Mike is a great guy, will not try to sell you anything above your level or buget. Great customer service and prices

I'll vouch for Mike as well.... Laurel is where I go.

No, I live in Alexandria, but work in Greenbelt, so Laurel is only 10 minutes away on my lunch break, I play occasional pickup with a couple of people who play in laurel.

If you are in the area, myself and a couple of friends organize a charity golf tournament for hockey fans, and also a pickup game, with any profits going to cancer research.
