Adding Grip to a Stick

Recommended Posts

Make a grip stick out of clear cloth tape and a peice of shaft or something. Just wrap the tape around inside out or the sicky side on the outside ( a good amount of tape on the stick) and rub it where the grip is wanted. Make a grip stick out of clear cloth tape and a peice of shaft or something.

I've never used it, but some here have had success with Plasti-Dip spray. It's available at hardware stores.

I find that the grip stick (tape on a piece of broken stick) works the best. I tested it out on a Ballistik OPS that I got from someone and you could really feel it. Since then I've been doing it to most of my sticks with the same result.

For those who use the tape-rubbing method, what (if anything) does this do to the palms of your gloves?

It turns your palms darker. thats all it did to my gloves anyway. and just for the record it was the sticky side of black tape and the gloves where X70's with nash palms and X51's with Microfibre seiude (sp?)

also if your using this method youll have to re-apply it every few ice times.
