craft beers?

Recommended Posts

sheaf stout. austrailian if i remember right. its a milk/sweet stout...

ive been homebrewing for like 6 or so months...nothing great yet. its tough. especially when you are drunk by the end of the boil.

SHEAF, that's it. Milk/sweet describes it pretty well. Keep us up to date as you guys get your brews perfected. Maybe we need to have a MSH homebrew contest. AFTER the skate of course. :D

No, what kind is that? I like that place but hate the rotating schedule because if you find one you like you'd better stock up because it'll be gone.

I usually get the same stuff when I head to Baltimore, not sure what the hell it is but I think it's actually brewed in the Baltimore area.

Is it Clipper City beer?

Clipper City brewery is in baltimore, and they do some nice beers up there, all sailing/weather related names.

I like their Loose Cannon Hop Ale, and Winter Storm Category 5 Ale

I'm terrible at explaining stuff like this, but it's like a dark beer that fills you up like a light beer if it makes any sense. It's really good, not very strong. But yea i agree about how they rotate the beers. Fallen Angel is only around a certain times of the year. I've only been able to get it during Christmas time.

I've actually relly enjoyed the Stoudt's Brewery Tripel (Adamstowm, PA Belgian style abbey ale. 9.2% alv. Packs a puch. Slightly sweet and not very hoppy.

This weekend I went to visit my Sister’s family and picked up a couple of growlers of Opa Opa brewing co. out of Southampton, MA Brown ale- very good stuff. I’ll be buying more. Might be more of a local thing, but give it a try if you see it.
