I don't think that's his stick I think it's the stick of the player that's across from him facing the ice, in you look over Ovechkin's left shoulder you see the blade of another stick I think that's his.

Pettinger is #18 and he is clearly the one holding the Compro stick, not Ovechkin.

Its not that stick we are talking about. There is a Synergy Elite Grip beside Ovies head (you can only see Eastons "E" logo), which I think belongs to the guy in the CCM helmet.

Beside ovies left shoulder, just below the coaching board, you can see a bit of white which I believe is his V10 Catapult.

I was at the game at warm-ups (season ticket holder) and that light green stick is certainly Petty's stick.

its not american they are canadian and they are based out of Edmonton
