i got my hands on a pair of the new skates not to use or anything but just to look and feel and one really big flaw i noticed was the tendon gaurd.... it is stiff as fuck and i could imange that being a really big problem in flex wile skating backwards and in full strides but thats just my opinion :lol:

I think its pretty rad that Mission is putting higher and higher quality parts on their less expensive skates. Not everyone wants to or can spend higher amounts, and it invites more kids to get started playing roller hockey.

Performance/Quality of the low(er) end skates have nothing to do with kids starting to play hockey.

The Tendon actually breaks in almost instantly, and doesn't not stay stiff...

Justin Im not into flashy skates, but I really like the look of the Boss and I would sure consider wearing them. Im finally getting my 9500s fitting just right but I might need a new pair this coming year. Keep up the good work.

it would be cool if that little bit of green on the boot and chassis were black or grey, that way when you put on new wheels, it doesnt look wierd. that way they could put on blue wheels and it would still look almost the same. I have some red rink rat mb's on my code 1's and they look really funny. the color scheme doesnt work but they're nice wheels. But i personaly like the green better cause my team's green.

Colors are way too personal. Blue has been done before, green is fresh like apples.

I agree. When you buy skates usually the stock wheels only last at most 4-5 months (4-5 minutes if it was the factories!), while the rest of the skates may get used for years. Chances are the new wheels you buy aren't going to be the same thing as the stock skates, especially since some of the new stock wheel colors are custom jobs you can't even buy on the street. IMO the more color neutral the boot is the better.

With that said, across the board the '08 skates look freaking amazing.

Go '08. Then color in the green with blue, and get blue wheels. :P
