one90 vs. XXX lite shooting question

Is there really "that" much of a difference or is it a gimmick? On the NBH site, it shows that the one90 "loading point" is higher. I have read that this is more for slap shots as well, but is this true?

The taper on the XXX-Lite is longer and thinner. The ONE90 actually has little to no taper to it, that's why the flex point is higher up in the shaft.

The XXX-Lite will have a quicker release for snap/wrist shots, the ONE90 will shoot truer slapshots. If you have good technique, you should be fine with either of them taking all kinds of shots.

I doubt you will see a huge difference in slapshot's or wist shot's becasue your using the One 90 or XXX lite.

Honestly, there's much difference. But I feel XXX lite is slightly better than one90.

There is some truth to the spin that marketing puts on the stick lines, but it's not as exaggerated as they make it out to be. Sure there's a bit of hype and gimmick to the marketing strategy, but that's the way marketing works- you play to your strengths. The XXX-lite won't hinder your slapper just as the ONE90 won't hinder your snapper, but the sticks are designed for different kinds of shots. As I wrote in my first post, if you've got good technique, you can shoot well with either of these sticks, or any stick for that matter.

There is Tactile Grip on the one90. (bumps/sort of like nipple grip)

Hate stick'um grip, want something just a tack more grippy than non-grip. Is it similar to the Rbk snake grip or more noticeable?
