I don't think either is a true-OPS.

I'm not familiar with the blue/white 7K... so I didn't want to comment. But I have a 7K Sickick, and I know some people here have converted their OPS' to shafts...

i was referring to the blue/white 7k, but yeah thats what someone at the hockey shop said and that he can't taper it which i was skeptical about. I'm gonna try going to cyclones and see if they can do it. Thanks!

100% sure its a two-piece fused(you should be able to make out the hairline fuse point, but then again, RBK may be using CCM technique with that air-bladder type molding which could result in a weird shaft interior therefore not allowing for a blade to be inserted.

Steve! Haha, he's good at running power skating clinics, but I wouldn't rely on his gear advice. Try the Vancouver Cyclone Taylor or the Surrey Hockey Shop.

Why aren't you doing it yourself? Sand down the paint, if there is a fuse point, then heat it up and pull out the blade. Better yet, find a SRS dealer and have the break repaired. $29.99 for repair is cheaper than buying a tapered blade.

The stick is a fused OPS, i found the bottom of a 7k broken in half and i took the blade out of the stick. if you want i can post up some pics of the blade, it is fused and i'm 100% sure of my answer on this one

^ Fused means it is not a true ops it is a shaft and blade fused together , so you just hav ti fund the fuse point ad heat it up an take the blade off.
