has anyone ordered from this site? cause it looks somewhat fishy, ie. they have the old 10.0 but refer to it as the catapult, and maybe its just me but all their descriptions sound the same except for the v115

I work with the ProHockeyReturn.com boys and i thought id offer up some comments and acquire some feed back from the fanatics/ stick scentists and hockey lovers from this board.

The site is currently in its BETA version and we are still working out the kinks.

We feel we have a great idea but are looking for some feedback.

Any ideas, comments ( apart from the aforementioned) that we can use to help us get better?

Very cool that you have a business dedicated to pro stocks. That said, straight-on pics of the curves would be very helpful.

Is there some reason that you can only get CCM/Rbk sticks, or is that just because it's just getting started/a beta version?... Also, have you thought about carrying other equipment (gloves, skates, etc.) as well as sticks?

It would be cool if we could get our names stamped on pro players' sticks as well.

This is a new site I guess, prices are alittle high, but they have a pretty good selection and you can get your name stamped on any stick .

When you select an existing player's stick there is no custom option.

Yeah, I didn't go thru the whole checkout option but in the few steps I went to the option never came up.

The Koivus (RBK for $149 an CCM for $139) intrigue me....but I really shouldn't.

Maybe just part of the BETA kinks...but they have an Eric Manlow RBK stick listed as being from the New York Islanders. Manlow waws with Grand Rapids (Detroit) last year and is in Hamilton (Montreal) this year. If he was ever with the Isle it was long before RBK Sick Kicks were introduced.

i just recieved th rbk 7v i ordered from them . its really nice... and 7v are ccm V10.0, incase that wasnt finalized it feels and looks like one and even has a little sticker on the shaft that reads v10.0, just painted as rbk sickick. def consider buying from them.

Thanks for the interest and feedback, it is much appreciated.

Here are some answers for the questions posted:

"When you select an existing player's stick there is no custom option."

A: The reason is becasue a custom pro player's stick ALREADY has the pro name stamped on it! Only the pro pattern sticks have the name slot empty with a spot to put a custom name.

A: The TEAM listed on the site isn't the team the stick is from necessarily - but the most recent NHL team the player played for. Manlow last played in the NHL for the Isles.

A couple of quick questions:

1) Where are you located?

2) What shipping carrier does ProReturnHockey.com use?(this question is mainly for shipping from US to Can or Can to US... just wondering about duties, shipping delays... the usual)

Lastly...

3) Is "ProReturnHockey.com" affiliated with a pro shop or online retailer? and if so, which one.

I thought maybe with that high a price for a pro stock you might get some sort of in house warranty, but there isn't one. Pro stocks, especially the generic pro patterns, can be had for significantly less than that.

This seems like an online only pro stock stick shop, Which to me means they don't make money off other services like most hockey shops do.. That means they have to make up for that money somewhere.... Assuming their customer service, shipping etc is good, That's what I believe you would be paying the extra money for.. the ease of use for obtaining pro stocks + their service.
