Not to bash these guys (I, as a goalie, have let in my share of bouncing puck goals) but I thought blooper number one was just incredible.

I still hate that comment that Ray Ferraro made about Stefan after he botched the empty netter. Its not like he did that on purpose.

Their both busts, but then again they also made good livings for themselves in the NHL. Stefan was a more costly bust though as he was the first pick ever for a franchise. Daigle was supposed to be a savior and I believe has had the better career (as strange as it seems).

very good points. ottawa recovered with better draft picks, and made the playoffs not too long after, while it took atlanta until this year to qualify. wasn't daigle trying to make it in hollywood or something? i know he took some time off.

I wish it would be it would be a great way to pad your stats :lol: but the goal goes to the nearest opposing player if puck goes in form someone on the team that got scored on. So all he did was made a fool of himself dind't even get a goal on his stat sheet, just sad.

#10 is not funny at all.

Wideman got some spring action from his left skate, when he made his cut his left foot shot out in front of him causing him to lose his balance. I have actually done something similar, but I was trying to avoid colliding with a defender. Embarrassing, and my butt hurt for a while, but at least is wasn't on TV. :lol:

Is it the nearest opposing player or the last opposing player who touched it? I remember reading something about the goalie clearing it out (or something) and somehow the other team got an own-goal, so they gave the goalie the goal. Is it a new rule then?

No, he didn't turtle when he hit Ritchie. Rutuu is an agitator of the worst kind as he never answers the bell when it comes time to drop the mitts. The only times I've seen him fight his opponent has been someone he grabbed so he wouldn't have to get a worse beating from another player.
