Graf Skate Fits

Can anyone describe to me how all the 700 series models fit. On graf's website they don't really explain enough.

My 709 have a tight fit around the ankles and a losser fit on the upper skate, they are pretty stiff.

Well, I don't know what they consider a wide or narrow forefoot.

Right now I'm in vapor 20's and they fit well except the arch is a little too high.

Maybe it's just me but how can there be that big of a difference in arch among skates ? I have the XX's and had 7000's before. I run a lot (5K's) and running shoes definitely have a different arch among brands as you are definitely using your arch in a running motion. In skates, your foot is pretty much locked in. Am I missing something ??

If your foot is locked in to an arch that isn't right, it hurts like hell.

Cram your toes in so your arch is compressed for an hour, then let us know how it feels afterward. :D If your arch is either stretched or compressed, the pain can be unbearable.

The best fitting skate ive ever tried on was Easton Ultra lights, can anyone tell me what Graf model would suit me?

Allright. What I want to know is is the 735's have a deeper depth than the 703 and if they have a wider forefoot?

Actually they almost fit the same...

The 735 is the old 704 skate done up.

Hmm, it even says it in the 735 description.

One thing about Grafs you can't forget though is that they strech quite a bit so buy them a little smaller than normal.

My Graf 705 teclites size 10 are exactly my foot size, I couldn't have a 1/4 of shoe size smaller. They have never streched in length!

The leather ones will stretch. I formerly had 502 and they stretched a fair bit.

To my knowledge none of the Graf skates available in North America is made of leather anymore (not even partially). The last one made of leather was the 704 I guess.
