Get there early. I have started to read thwe biograph on Einstein by Walter Isaacson and hope to finish before the doors open. Got there at 7:00 last year and had 2-3 in front of me, but they only beat my by about 10 min.

Turnover is rediculous at Starcenters. Most of the employees talk out of their asses about how much it will suck being at the equipment sale even though most of them weren't employees as of last years sale. Deathtron has always been accurate and truthful, so I'll take his word for it.

And yep, those redlights were there a couple of weeks ago.

For the record, I never said the sale was going to fully loaded. I just doubt its going to be depleted as everyone says...then again, all the corporate guys did have all the nice stuff. Point being, you will probably get what you want Drew.

didn't pick up much today, but i got a response lite lehtinen, sl boucher, pair of old school cooper shouldies, bucket and a couple of hats. as of right now there are probably about 40 lindros one90 sticks left, 15-20 zubov se's, around 6 or so response lite's barnes curve, and 5 xn10's of his too. 16 or so robidas. i have no clue about lefties there were a ton of lefts when i left and nobody was buyin.

I looked at the Lehtinen response lite, but I swear, those shafts on his were intermediate! Either that, or the shaft has really rounded corners.

Either way, I picked up a Barnes xn10, too bad its a Regular flex.

just got back from the sale.. real weak this year indeed. 4th in line, so i saw everything there was to be had. most of the items grossly overpriced, as well. i.e. centre ice practice jersey circa 1999 50$..unreal. very dissapointing

I just got back as well, and I will second the fact that it was pretty lame. However I did get 3 Barnes pattern XN10's at a fairly decent price, so not all was lost.

If you're going for equipment, it was really picked over by the time I got in (around 60th). All that was really left in RH were Lindros One90s.

There were like 6 pairs of Douglas shoulders. Might go back for that.

Lots of regular apparel.

Coolest thing I got were some black/teal 108" laces.
