Nu är det helt klart:

Nicklas Bäckström skriver på för Washington Capitals - och får sitt drömkontrakt.

- Avtalet mellan Nicklas och kommer att signeras inom två veckor, bekräftar hans agent Gunnar Svensson.

He's gettting a big contract, the maxium payment for a rookie, the deal for the 1st year looks similar to Ovechkins first year.

The contract will be signed within 2 weeks. Because of IIHF rules he can't sign under the A-World championship, thus until the 15th of may, and because he's under contract with a european team, his NHL contract must be signed before the 1st of June.

Thus he will sign officially between 15may-1st of June.

So when they say it's not a hockeybomb, they mean nobody is shocked/surprised about it.
