Dolomite shaft... What blade?...

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used a CCM Vector V5.0 blade with this shaft? Or has anyone used this blade before at all? If so what is it like? Seems like everywhere has this blade for a really good price, especially for a tapered blade.

Easton senior Synthesis Si-Core Iginla in an intermediate Dolomite shaft. The combo is well balanced and has been durable for me (touch wood).

I'd advise agaisnt any RBK blade...they become flimsy so fast it's rediculous.

I second the flimsiness. My 6k got the sound of shattered composite blades after 2 weeks, you know, that crunching sound when you hit the puck. I don't know about any of you, but I find that the Dolomite blade is better than all of the others in terms of durability, consistency, and balance with a Dolomite shaft.

I third the flimsiness, a week or 2 of use and it had the same sound that Langenbrunner15 heard. became a noodle soon thereafter.

I don't know exactly when they made it, but it's in their catalogue and on most of the online retailer websites. Average price is around $28.99 I thought that was a really good price for a tapered blade. Seems to be very cheap in price for what it is, but has anyone actually used it? Would it fit in a dolomite shaft?

its a tapered blade comparable to the v40 if I recall correctly. Basically a ccm hybrid blade, good for outdoor roller hockey and good enough for ice.

a friend of mine had a V5.0 in his dolomite shaft. The balance was decent and he seemed to like it. It was maybe a bit blade-heavy for some, but I actually prefer blade-heavy over shaft-heavy.
