I'd wait. Unless of course you were in desperate need of some cash.

I have 2 Greztky O-Pee-Chee rookie cards, mint condition, in plastic casing, and I have no intention of selling those yet. Just give it sometime, it's gonna increase even more over time.

Do you need the money? If not you should wait. The price is only going to go up as long as you keep it in good condition.

I highly doubt you found one for $4..

Take a picture of the front and back, post it up here and I will believe you. I doubt anybody is stupid enough to sell it for $4.

You would not believe some unknowing parent cleaning out the attic sold all of her kids old hockey cards without looking through them first? If it really is the real deal, I'd believe that story..

get it graded

This has been one of the best things to ever happen to the collection industry.

P.S. I want to see the back because as far as I know, there were only 3 runs of it done. 1st edition, reprint (which is printed on the back), and a foil series (that obviously are covered in cheesy ass gold foil and not the original).

Have it graded and if its real, sell it. Sell it back to the person who sold it to you and explain to them that you're not the type of person who profits from another's ignorance.

I think thats too much being a pathfinder.

I dont care how you got it, get it graded, then see how much you can get for it. There is a big difference between mint and near mint in price.

I used to collect hockey cars, I have a lot of the 90-91 through 92-93. They have stayed in price for the last 10 years. I doubt I can pay off my school loans with them

Same thing with comics. The early 90's the companies printed so much that the value of comics/cards arent as high as say a 1982 gretzky
