Calgary Flames Equipment Sale

Recommended Posts

I am surprised that they actually sell used helmets officially. I thought there is some law against selling used helmets they can be less protective & etc.

If anyone is willing to pick me up a pair of Friesen or Hamrlik RBK Gloves and Size Medium RBK/CCM Pants in useable condition let me know.

I just re-read it and does it really say that 10 pairs of Iginla one90s are going to be available?

This is a shot in the dark, but if anyone from Calgary could pick me up a pair I'd definitely buy them.

Their selling Iginla's Tacks too...I didn't even know he wore Tacks

I'd say the sticks aren't listed because there's so many of them...notice at the top it says "Below is a list of some of the items...". I guess they just didnd't want to have to go through them all.

As for Regehr's, it says he has 2 pairs...I'm assuming one pair is new and the other is used.

I wish I lived in Calgary too, haha. Visors are only $20-$30...I'd be all over that, and a pair of Friesen's new gloves for $65. Can't go wrong with that. Unless you get beaten to it by someone else...

As far as i know, if the helmets are declared as memorabilia instead of a equipment, its okay.

The buyer will probably have to sign a waiver saying they are buying it as a collectible and if they wear it to play, the team...league, etc...are not responsible if they get injured.

In Montreal no one had to sign waivers.

Come on there are used helmets all over Ebay of all sports, all types

and ages.

No waivers, no laws, and no enforcement. Besides who is going to

enforce that law.

The cops are plenty busy already, Now as for the teams lawyers on the

other hand.

But then Canada has not yet become the litigious society

the US is..... yet.

I did. Only for a helmet...not other gear.
