Definitely a little confusing to get there like you said as you kind've have to go past it and come back. It's basically on the access road beside the westbound highway. I would call to get exact directions. Also Sportsplex in Pierrefonds should have drop in. A little further though.
habookus 1 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 Bonaventure has good shinny, and runs usually monday to friday; 10a.m., 12p.m., and 2p.m. i believe. It shouldn't be to hard to find it, it is the place with the huge H-O-C-K-E-Y sign in front.
Gongshow11 1 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 bonaventure shinny on frodays mornings at 10 am is the best in montreal. However, make sure you get there at 9 because a line forms about then
JGraz15 53 Report post Posted October 18, 2007 Sorry to bring up this old thread, are there any rinks around the airport (or decently close) that have evening drop in/shinny times?

HkY_GuY 2 Report post Posted March 31, 2008 i am from montreal and i am also interested in shinny do everyone show up in full gear? and how it is in general is it fun or more competive slashing checks, dirty hit and all that?
Storm 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 Bonaventure : It gets pretty competitive at times. Many regulars. Not wearing full gear is frowned upon. The 2:15 session is soft. Sportplexe : Less competitive during day. Good games in evening. Full gear is recommended.
HkY_GuY 2 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 thanks bonaventure is about 10min from my place, and i don't have full gear.
mykey514 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 i generally go to bonaventure to play.the 2:15 session is definitely the best one to not wear full equipment at.
