Bauer One80

Recommended Posts

I've been wanting to buy the One90 shaft for some time, dislike non-grip (tape nongrip sticks) and dislike grippy sticks, so figuered the Tactile grip would be worth trying.

In the Bauer catalog here on MSH it say's One80, but it's crossed out with a pen, and instead its written "One90".

Anyway, in the states the stores carry the product as One90 (e.g. hockeymonkey), although hockeygiant has it listed as One80???, but here in Europe they call it the One80, and today I actually saw the shaft

It's called One80 and has the same paintjob as the One90, only difference is that all the silver is replaced with white.

Think it's a SMU product for Europe, just like the XXXlite and XX standard shafts. Can any Northamerican One90 shaft owners confirm that your stick is infact called One90?

Will buy a One80 on monday, and post pics in this thread.

I believe some sites still have it listed as one80, probably because they prepped it before they got them in and didn't change it. They might have some on80s in stock but they aren't what NBH meant to release when they did officially release the shaft.

Picked two 102flex One80'a up today... They have the "flex-bars" like the Bauer OPS. After cutting them my shafts are 110flex (more of less).

Tactile Grip: I hate grippy sticks, but need a slight grip for slappers, so I usually tape my sticks... but most say Tactile grip is awesome, really like it.

Paid $140 a pop, which is a decent price for a top-end shaft around here (Europe)... *sigh*

It looks awesome ingame, have a white Rbk RB in it, got alot of comments during warm up.

Weight's not listed.

It's pretty light, went fra a Mission Ion to this, and it's just a tad heavier than the Ion. Comparable to a Z-bubble in weight.

It's also quite long (54')
