Paris Hilton Gets Owned

Recommended Posts

Wow that's a bad 'fact.'

According to every criminology class I've taken it's 100% true. The prisons and jails are just too full, it's sad really.

If the prisons are so damn overcrowded why was she given her own personal cell? They couldn't have been that overcrowded  This whole situation shows how much of a joke the LA court system is and how they always show favortism to celebs.

There, I fixed that statement a little bit along with the LA court system.

Paris Hilton had to be forceably removed from court crying and screaming "mom mom mom" when a judge ordered her back to jail to serve out the remaining time on her sentence.

Originally she had to serve 23 of the 45 day sentence, but now the full 45 must be served, with credit for 5 already served.

....

And I chuckled and thought, maybe there is a god out there after all, and maybe, just maybe he also hates spoilt skanks

Boy what I would have given to be in that courtroom at the time...or the judge, getting screamed at and shit from the Paris Hilton Fan Club.*

*The Paris Hilton Fan Club consists of her mom and dad.

most people convicted will only serve 1/3 of their sentence.

If that was the case, she would have served 7-8 days rather then 3. Definately favoritism.

oh yes, definitely.

Rich, famous as well as the mentally ill and "dangerous" inmates are all treated differently than the regular population. There's a lot of stuff that people don't understand about the system and why they have to do things a certain way but if you really look at it, most of it makes sense. When you look at it blindly it doesn't make much sense at all.

Silverman has been funny from time to time, I do wish she'd find something besides this annoying New York Jew thing she rides to death.

Apparently, it was the sheriff who released her on home arrest, the judge who promised to make an example of Hilton was supposed to be out of town for something, based on what I read. The article says Hilton's grandparents previously gave the sheriff a "re-election campaign contribution".

The media obviously caused uproar, and word carried back to the judge, and he had her put back in the clink.

True. Inmates, correctional officers, and the "warden" have all said the same. My Criminology class had the first two as speakers, and took a field trip to a local jail.

I believe the rule is an offender MUST serve one third, and in many cases that is the most they will.
