It's a grip strength tester I believe. Essentially it's like holding a handle and you squeeze as hard as you can.

Can someone with better eyes than me figure out how much was on the Bar during the bench?

I think it was 150 lbs.

You have to do those presses so perfectly to form that 150 is extremely difficult.

And about the puking, this is a bit off topic, but I kind of want to hear your opinions on this.

When someone pukes on the bench after a hard skate, or workout, why do people assume that player is in "bad shape"? I personally get sick to my stomach and tend to puke from time to time, but I believe I am in very good shape. I just push myself until that point. Thoughts?

Its not a bad sign.. at least in some cases. Its just a sign that you went to or actually over your limit and thats how the body is responding afterwards.

But i think, someone will know better than me.

they assume that you should be in good enough shape that pukign shouldnt be a question. you're level of fitness should be beyond whats required at all times

Are you talking of the events at the combine, their fitness levels should exceed what they are doing? or just in general. If you mean in general, that would mean there is no way to push yourself to get better...

back when i was still playing juniors we used to fo the wingate and VO2 max testing ( stuff on the bike) and let me tell you, its the worst 30 sec or minute ever. If you do it right and go as hard as you can, its almost hard not to puke.

It's faulty logic, but generally people don't like signs of weakness being shown. Subliminally they'd rather see a worse time than a time done balls out and throwing up.
