Thats 4 times as many reviews than the Sandisk has.Oh wait, i also forgot the Lifetime warranty from Kingston on the card compared to Sandisks 3 years. But if you still want the Sandisk go with it, but you can have 3 of the Kingstons for the same price as 1 Sandisk.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820171115

BK 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 I just saw this on gizmodo.. I'm not so excited about the iphone afterall. For $500, I would expect it to have at LEAST 3g capabilities.http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/apple/finally-c...have-272571.php

hockeyherb 1 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 Wow you guys are tough critics. You're getting a phone, iPod (a real iPod not a pseudo) and video player (with a better screen than the video iPod) all for that price plus a ton of other features that other smart phones can't touch. Sure there are some things it can't do as well as other phones but I don't think you can say it isn't great value.I watched a video of the keypad in action over at apple.com. It is really slick and will likely be emulated more in the future. i'd take more screen available and no keypad any day especially if it works as well as it looks like it does. Walt mossberg at WSJ had a full review today in the paper and he said it works great.I am not planning on getting one but if i could sell my video iPod, iPod mini and RAZR phone for $499 I might actually buy one. Vapor 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 Show me another phone with visual voicemail and a real web browser and Ill buy it. Apple will support flash and Java... down the road. The fact that its not 3g pisses me the hell off too, but it has an Apple logo so I am obligated to purchase it. When they release a 3g version Ill be ready for that too. BK 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 I was just saying that I would assume that it would come with more from cingular/att's side. I mean, honestly. Its the hottest phone ever (yes, I can say that this trumps the razr's release by a large margin) and they refuse to put it on the 3g network. The iphone is 3g capable.. its AT&T's fault for not putting it on that network.Good phone still. As I said before, I would get it for the web capabilities too (and I already have a great internet phone). As for the ipod part of it, yea there is a nice screen.. but I don't like the small amount of memory. Its just a personal thing. I am one of those guys who has a 80gb ipod, but only uses about 20 gigs. I like HAVING the ability to stick whatever I want on it and not have to worry about if it will fit or not. Again, its just a personal thing. I probably wouldn't use the ipod part of it for music but it would be nice to have a little extra storage for my personal docs.
Thockey17 1 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 but it has an Apple logo so I am obligated to purchase it.Seems to be the common thing nowadays. A ton of the so called "Apple Loyals" have to support a new product or update no matter how good/bad it is.As far as the phone, it is quite the piece of hardware, but still missing a few key things that would put it head and shoulders above of anything else. The touchscreen is great, but wouldnt withstand more than a month of use by me. Scratches, smudges, and even cracks would appear very quick.

Its just a personal thing. I am one of those guys who has a 80gb ipod, but only uses about 20 gigs. The phone is not 3g capable. Its like having a 56k modem and trying to connect to a broadband network. The technology has to be built into the phone. A rumor says that 3g is built into the phone and a firmware upgrade will allow it to work, but according to all the FCC paperwork this is not true.Small amount of memory? PLEASE Show me another phone that has 8GB of storage.
tomh7 2 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 I currently have the Cingular 8125 and I am getting ready to replace it. I am leaning toward the Palm 750. When I first heard about the iPhone I was all on board. However, I already have an iPod Nano (4g) that I only use when I workout so I don't really need that. Besides, at the rate Apple upgrades their stuff, 2nd Gen will not be that far off. My girlfriends step dad has had Treo's since the original and swears by them.I am curoius to hear some comments about the Palm 750 phone from anone who has/had one. Vapor 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 I never said I did, but people trash the iPhone for being too expensive (which it may be). Sure you can go out and buy a treo for 500 bucks and then another 240 on an 8GB card, but that that price is it worth it?
