Disappointing to see the sick ass people we have in this world. Disgusting. And the parents signing the consent form, man up and be the parents, put them both in their place about the situation already.

That is disgusting. Like how could they be interested in each other. Deffienently a creepy story , and I am even more shocked her parents signed the form.

Good lord I hope they don't procreate or it'll have to be killed right out of the egg it hatches from.

Well think about it. If they didn't sign it, she would have ended up running away with him anyways. I don't really see how she could possibly be attracted to him because anyone who is 26 years older than me is ass ugly and complain about everything...

My daughters are still young (8 and 10), but it's scary to realize we might "lose" one of them because they don't want to hear our advice.

For instance, just listing the girlfriends I've had illustrates a point I've already made with my daughters. I never had a lot of girlfriends, but they were:

1) 16 - She was a year older than me, so I couldn't understand why she liked me but, by default she became number one. Nothing in common, really.

2) 19 - I was two grades ahead in college. I think I was more willing to be serious than she wanted to be as a freshman. She was fun to be around.

3) 22 - Lived with her for two years and was morose when she broke up. A year later I realized we were on different pages. She was a lot of fun, but basically immature. I remember at least three occasions when she cried like a little girl retelling a story about when she was yelled at by her mother at 6.

4) 27 - Another girl living in the past, as well as one who liked to be the flame to the moths.

5) 29 - She was a manipulative jerk. And I was a jerk for dating her.

However, at that point, I finally figured what I was doing wrong. I was getting attracted to loud, boisterous girls who were hollow. Once I figured that pattern, I finally had an idea -- 15 years after my first girlfriend -- what I wanted in a woman. In my case, I was lucky I met that woman, because I've been together with my wife for 14 and I've always said she's a great person.

The point I'm making is, "Do the parents of this girl KNOW the odds of her staying with her first boyfriend -- let alone one 26 years older -- are about 1 in a 100?" You bet they do. They know that their daughter at 25 will be about a 60% different person than she is at 16. The problem is too many teenagers seem to think their parents grew up in a vacuum; i.e., their parents have no idea what life is like for a teenager.

There's an old saying attributed to Mark Twain that essentially says, "I was amazed at how much smarter my Dad became between the time I was 17 and 21." As a parent, we'll just hold our breaths that our kids don't do something tragic until they realize we're fighting for the same cause.

The look on that guys face is a bit frightening.

I hope I have sons. Id probably freak if I had a daughter.

Not that I would ever let some shit like that happen, atleast while I was alive.

Sixteen seems a bit young, but its also the age at which a lot of the Disney princesses seem to fall in love and get married.

Yeah but in that case wouldn't itbe illegal for them to be together? I'm not sure if it would be like that in the states but here in Canada I am pretty sure that would be illegal. I wouldn't be able to keep cool if i was her father.

 That's a good joke, but the kid and the adult both are not sexy.

See, I'm not a pedophile

They better not procreate, or the world is even more doomed than it is already.

I'm sitting here wondering why the theme song from the movie Deliverance is going through my head. If it was my daughter they probably would have found "Coach" wrapped neatly in a carpet at the side of a river, or maybe "never again".
