Are 4-rolls reeally that good?

Recommended Posts

Tried on a pair of 4 Rolls at my LHS and they're pretty much what you'd expect from a pro quality glove as far as comfort, weight, and protection.

I found them online (icewarehouse.com) for $90 and free shipping so I opted to go that route.

I'd suggest trying these on in store if possible. I've usually been a 15" glove length man, but I found the 14" 4 Rolls were a bit more to my liking.

How much were the 4 Rolls you tried on at the LHS before buying online?

Just wondered how big the $ saving was. If it was about colors all you have to do is ask the LHS to order the color.

.....And then wait two weeks. None of us like online stores, but reality is reality and we're preaching to the choir with some of these people.

and then it takes longer than just ordering yourself, plus you have to drive back to the store once they get them in, possibly paying more than you would've online.

While your pissing in the morning you might want to check the spelling of what your pissing.

i don't wanna miss the bowl, i always try to check when im done though

and my morning routine has nothing to do with the advantages or disadvantages to LHS/buying online, but i'd feel more comfortable keeping that conversation between us, if you'd like to, we can continue it over PM, i'd gladly share the rest of the routine with you.

Just because you have one doesn't mean you use it but that's ok. See you at the LHS or online shopping.

yes, unfortunately i do have better things to do than look up every word in a dictionary, sorry if you are offended by my horrible mistake, if it bothers you that much i'll correct it.

Its ok. I'm not offended. I did not think excellence was that difficult a word to spell. Its your sig so I'm the one missing the joke.

$99.99 plus tax so it may have come out to $105+ or so. Not a significant savings to go online, and I have to wait a week, but the $15 can be re-invested in other things like gear or beer.

I didn't go custom colors. I like my gloves like I like my coffee: black and hot.

sabre, thank you for correcting my incorrect use of your. You're 100% right!

trevor, let me add the ending to that line: black, hot, and ready for creaming.

Too far Darkstar, too far ;)

(The "too's" were used correctly as well)

My brother went with the LHS which is also his employer for them. Maybe could have saved a couple bucks going online but he got the Michigan and Duck-ish gloves for his teams next year. They weren't available on-line at the time, plus shipping would have raped him.
