Arnott - Legwand

 Suprised at these choices and my man Sullivan doesn't even get a look in.

He hasn't played much center in a long time. In Chicago he spent most of the time on the wing too.

Last I heard Arnott was centering Sullivan, who was moved to the wing. I don't think I'd chose, them, but figured they are worth a mention. 2 under the radar guys, who can both have large impacts on the game.

To go along with Chadd's post, Sullivan hasn't played C at all in Nashville. I don't remember him doing that since the New Jersey and Toronto days.

Dang, I stand corrected, happens to the best of us though I guess! :P

San Jose...

Would be funny to see a poll on this topic by nhl players themselves... To all you guy's saying Lecav/Richards, I remember Richards beeing voted as one of the most overrated players in the league by his own peers.

Is Marleau still even a C? Even if it was an option available to me I wouldn't watch their games, but in the playoffs he played a lot of wing. He also sucked a lot.

Marleau played the wing a lot this past season because Joe Pavelski was the center on that line. I guess they thought it would be better to have Marleau switch positions instead of the rookie Pavelski. To answer your question, yes, he is still a center. It was strange to see Marleau struggle so badly in the playoffs. Usually the bigger the game, the better he gets, but that wasn't the case this time around.

Richards is overrated. He's being paid like he's one of the best players in the league and he's (argueably) not even the 3rd best player on the team(Lecavalier, St Louis, Boyle). That still doesn't mean he's not talented and a playmaker when he's on the ice(when he's surrounded by guys that can bury the puck).
