need advice. Sande Max Pro or Supreme One90 glove?

Recommended Posts

long story short, the lady tried to buy me the maxfx's but found out they were out of stock, so i need to give her a replacement fast, should i go with another sande glove (maxpro) or should i give the One90's a shot, or go another route?

thanks!

im not much of a gear guyy, so i usually just get whats around. ive only had two sets of ice gloves a cooper set and a sherwood set. i think i'd like a tighter fit this time around.

You can't just go about telling someone that. Its like saying, sure drop the 150.00, but if you don't like them, your out of luck. I'd borrow a friend's gloves that are tighter fitting first to see if you like them or not.

love the feel of the one90. reminds me of my old snowboarding gloves. so comfy. Im not a fan of nylon it doesnt hold up for me near as long as the other materails. that is the only reason i dont have the one90. Ill take durability over weight anyday. but i also use my gloves for both ice and roller.

try on some of your friends gloves and write down some models of gloves that you like. That way you can narrow your search and if you have any questions afterwards I'm sure we'd be able to offer some additional advice.

It all depends on the fit. Do you like loose fitting or tight fitting gloves?

Max pros are a tighter fit than most other gloves.

I don't know too much about the Sande gloves so I won't comment on them. I do have a pair of the Supreme One90's and I couldn't be happier. They took almost no time to break in and they are very comfortable. They have a tapered fit so they fit a little more snug than the Supreme gloves in the past. There hasn't been on person that has come into my shop that hasn't liked the feel. If they don't buy the it's because they don't like the price, not the fit. I sell mine for $140.00 USD. How does that compare to ones that you have seen?

That's pretty close to the online price. I believe when they first came out they were a bit more but recently the price has dropped slightly.

It's kind of confusing because it does carry the supreme name... and oddly enough the "new" 4-roll doesn't carry the supreme name.

i went with the one90's and got them in the mail. wow these gloves are a snug fit, but you have a lot of freedom and movement in them. i got the 14" (i used 13.5" sherwoods previously) and my hand size might be a touch to big, but i feel the 15's might be too big. i like them so far, i have some issues with them in some padding pushing into the hand in a couple of areas, and surprisingly the thumb being more restricted that the fingers, but ill try them out in my games this weekend and update.
