Rightfully so, the new Nike Bauer site has a popular thread in the equipment section.

In addition to being a gearhead, I'm also a fan of training techniques so I was sad to see that element of the Nike Bauer website removed.

Fortunately, the Nike Bauer training content remains online and hopefully will be better than ever as it's not fully operational yet.

In the meantime...happy training!

Are those sneakers available yet? And are they available just in Canada?

The shoes are available right now across Canada. The NBH branding on the shoes are only available in Canada. The Shox 45 came out 2 years ago and has been 're-retroed' this year (I think just for the hockey training promotion). At this time, the Vapor 45 is only available in Canada.

They have been selling the blue/white/black nike bauer free 7.0's for a while now. The red colorways were just released. I saw all the shoes at Foot Locker the other day in Canada.

I'm drooling all over those Vapor 45s. Any idea which stores have them? I've never seen them in footlocker/champs. MSRP?

If you live in Richmond then go to the Nike Store @ Richond Center. I think MSRP is $119.00 Cdn.

Pretty cool. I like the peer assessment option. I just sent the request to most of my team. We'll see how many respond.

when i was in toronto this weekend i took a look at some of the training stuff. the free 7.0 is NBH branded and is in white/blue or white/red. but the shox and the vapor 45 are just nike branded, kind of lame.

you can order them straight off the Nike website. You can even customize them. I'm thinking of ordering a pair of the Free Trainer 7's because it says they aid in strengthening the muscles of the foot. Does anyone have any confirmation of that? I'm still working on rehabbing my foot from surgery and anything that could help with that would be welcome.

I recall JR mentioning something about how the free trainers strengthen the muscles in your foot during training sessions, but wearing them throughout the day isn't healthy for you feet.
