jofa shin pads

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know where to find a pair of pro stock jofa shin pads? Meaning with the type of foam and what not that pro's request?

No difference when compared to the retail pad, but made in Sweden instead of China.

You gotta watch out for those pro requests because some have no Hyper-X protection (anti-hyper-extension). Then the ligament tab is stitched into the side of the knee cap. I don't think they're CE certified.

They are the same as the old xx90 series, but without calf protection and hyper-x protection. And they are CE certified.

My mistake, but, yes, exactly like yours. Thanks for the picture. Does the label read 'JDP 6090'? When did you get them?

No the label says JDP 6070. Same shin/knee cap as 6090, also same padding/liner as 6090 but without hyper-x and calf protection. I got them on closeout sale last year from sportewa.se here in Sweden.. They are an old model, but they are the pad same as JDP 8070 and 9070. Just different logo/colors.

The new RBK shins are basically the same thing. The 9K,8K and 7K are pro quality shin pads. As for the older Jofa pads go with the 9090, 9080 or 9070's. Basically if the Jofa pad has the NHL Center Ice symbol on them they are pro quality pads and the same things the pros in the big leagues wear.

Why is it that ALL of your posts are the same?

The xx70 is an European pad that is not available in North America, not necessarily a pro stock pad. The pros can get them though.
